White Ibis nest in huge colonies in fresh water marshes or along the ocean coast. They sometimes fly up to fifteen miles in a day to find small crustaceans, fish, frogs, and aquatic insects to eat and feed young. They extend the neck in flight and with white body plumage and black wing tips are beautiful flyers.
